PAINT HAMMONTON: 10th ANNUAL PLEIN AIR EVENT
The Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University and the Hammonton Arts District are now accepting applications for the 10th Annual Plein-Air Event: Paint Hammonton. This event is widely anticipated and has attracted artists from Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia in addition to many talented New Jersey artists. The event takes place on Saturday, September 8. Painters set up their easels at locations of their choice all around town to capture the effects of natural light, quickly painting a scene before it’s gone. Judging this year’s competition is award winning artist and gallery owner Gordan Haas. $2,000 in cash awards will be awarded and all of the paintings created during the event will be included in an exhibition that starts that evening and runs through December 2 at the Noyes Museum Galleries at Stockton University’s Kramer Hall.
AC Artists Collective:
Our mission is to support a vibrant community of fine artists and crafters, to provide them with an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work under a juried system, to enhance professional development among artists, and to benefit the community as a whole.
